It’s shame for Mahesh Babu!

Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi is scheduled to hit the theaters on 9th May 2019 in a very grand manner. Currently the shoot is going on at the brisk pace and is on the verge of completion. The pre release business of Maharshi has been already started. It is known news that the makers of Maharshi have not closed the overseas deal. No any buyers are coming forward to grab the overseas rights of Mahesh Babu starrer as the makers are demanding unreasonable price. The sources close to the film unit revealed that makers have already slashed some discount but no one came forward. So they are planning to release the film on sharing basis. It’s a shame for Mahesh Babu as no any distributor is ready to release Maharshi in overseas.

Mahesh Babu’s recent offering didn’t bring profits to the distributors so no-one is showing interest in Maharshi. His previous offering Bharat Ane Nenu, in which Mahesh Babu played the role of chief minister was decent hit at the box office and the movie collected $3.5 million but it did not bring the profit for the distributor as it was sold out for hefty price.

The team has started the promotional activities and recently the makers also released a single Choti Choti Baatein, which became fail to generate the buzz.

Pooja Hegde will be seen sharing the screen space with Mahesh Babu whereas Allari Naresh will be seen playing Mahesh Babu’ friend in Maharshi, which is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally. Apart from the lead pair, Maharshi also has other stars like Jagapathi Babu, Sonal Chauhan, Jayasudha, Posani Krishna Murali, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sai Kumar, Prakash Raj, Naresh, Meenakshi Dixit, and Prakash Raj in supporting roles.

Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi is bankrolled by C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema.
