Mythri sending Vijay Deverakonda in Sandalwood

The young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda is all set to enter in Sandalwood. If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Mythri Movie Makers are sending Vijay Deverakonda in Sandalwood. Pelli Choopulu actor has been approached to play the lead role in an upcoming trilingual drama, which will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. Apparently, this massive project will be bankrolled under Mythri Movie Makers, the banner which is currently bankrolling Vijay Deverakonda starrer upcoming movie Dear Comrade in which he will be seen sharing the screen space with his Geetha Govindam co-star Rashmika Mandanna.

Mythri Movie Makers, the production house, is popular for delivering hit movies like Rangasthalam and Srimanthudu. Currently Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling Sai Dharam Tej starrer Chitralahari.

Vijay Deverakonda starrer trilingual drama is said to be helmed by Anand Annamalai, who had penned dialogues for the award-winning Kollywood film, Kaakka Muttai starring Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajesh.

Maharshi’s cinematographer Mohanan’s daughter Malavika Mohanan is on the board to play the female lead role. This is the first time, Vijay Deverakonda and Malavika Mohanan will work together for this upcoming project.

Malavika Mohanan made her acting debut with the romantic drama Pattam Pole  in 2013. Following a series of lead roles in Malayalam and Kannada movies, she won critical acclaim after appearing in Majid Majidi’s drama film, Beyond the Clouds portraying a dweller of Mumbai’s dhobi ghat area. Malavika Mohanan was last seen in Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth starrer Petta, where she essayed the role of Poongodi.

Touted as a sports drama, Vijay Deverakonda will be seen playing a professional biker. An official announcement is awaited regarding this project.

 On the otherside,  Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy in his upcoming movie Dear Comrade, which will be released on 22nd May. Apart from Dear Comrade, he will also be seen in Kranthi Madhav’s upcoming project.
