Puri Connects re-tweeted, “Oh we’re glad to have you on board the first schedule was insane let’s make the second one.” Incidentally, Puri Connects, the talent management agency which is being run by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur have been managing Divyadarshini’s work, and now Puri Jagannadh is introducing her through his son Akash Puri’ film.
Divyadarshini is well known face for TV audiences. Before making her debut as an actress, Divyadarshini featured in the supporting roles in the films including Kamal Haasan’ production Nala Damayanthi in 2003, before going on to work in television serials, drawing attention for her performances in the Raadan Media ventures Selvi and Arasi.
Dhivyadharshini made her debut as a television anchor in 1999, when she successfully auditioned to be the child anchor for Ungal Theerpu. She made a breakthrough as an actress, portraying a serious character in K. Balachander’s television serial Rekkai Kattiya Manasu.
Dhivyadharshini’ sister Priyadarshini is also a television host, while her younger brother is an airline pilot.
Romantic is being directed by Anil Paduri. Ketika Sharma is playing the love interest of Akash Puri whereas Mandira Bedi will be seen in key role. Puri Jagannadh has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of Romantic.
