After Nani starrer Jersey, now all eyes are on Vijay Deverakonda starrer upcoming movie Dear Comrade. But now there is a bad news for Vijay Deverakonda’s fans. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers of Dear Comrade are planning to postpone the release of the movie as they don’t want to compete with Kollywood star Suriya starr NGK. Dear Comrade is a romantic drama, set against a political backdrop, featuring Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna and is slated to hit the theaters on the 31st of May. On the other side, Surya is also coming on the same date with NGK in both Tamil and Telugu. So Dear Comrade’ makers have decided to move out of the race now.
The talk is that Vijay Deverakonda starrer Dear Comrade might release on the 19th of July in a big way. An official confirmation is yet to be made in this regard.
Dear Comrade is Vijay Deverakonda’s second film with his Rashmika Mandanna Earlier both have worked together for Geetha Govindam, which was blockbuster at the box office. The recently released teaser that featured a passionate lip-lock between the on-screen lovers- Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, has grabbed plenty of attention owing to its intense presentation. The expectations are very high on this film, which will be released in all South Indian languages.
Rashmika Mandanna will be seen playing the role of cricket player whereas Vijay Deverakonda as student leader Comrade Charlie. Dear Comrade is helmed by Bharat Kamma and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Suriya starrer political action thriller film NGK written and directed by Selvaraghavan. Rakul Preet Singh, and Sai Pallavi are playing the female lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer and Sivakumar Vijayan is handling the cinematography. NGK is bankrolled by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures.
